This Thanksgiving Karen and Lisa are offering a wonderful opportunity to share a week of gratitude, peace and rejuvenation – seaside! What better way to spend a holiday than to give back to yourself?

Maya Tulum is a magical, mystical yoga retreat center with white sand beaches, turquoise water and rich Mayan culture. This is where the jungle meets the sea, cliffside ruins hold spiritual secrets and the energy and beauty of the Yucatan Peninsula inspire transformation. Nourish your soul and treat yourself to a week dedicated totally to you!

Each day will begin with the most beautiful sunrise, a yoga practice to wake up your senses and a meditation to calm your mind. You will have plenty of free time to enjoy the beach, get a spa treatment, explore Tulum, take an excursion or simply relax in a hammock. In the late afternoon we will share a second yoga practice that suits the energy of the day. During the week we will reflect on our journeys with an emphasis on abundance and what is sacred in our lives. Three delicious health-minded meals will be provided daily in the open air dining room. Some evenings there will be live music and dancing if that suits your fancy. You can catch up on deep peaceful sleep to the sound of the ocean waves and experience the healing and rejuvenating benefits that Maya Tulum has become famous for.

Karen and Lisa are both experienced and supportive yoga instructors having taught 18 years collectively. Their approach is mindful, playful and grounding. They each believe in the power of touch, and take a very generous and loving hands-on approach to classes. The class style will be vinyasa flow with attention to breath, alignment, and honoring oneself in the practice. There will also be offerings of meditation, pranayama, gentle yoga practice and chanting throughout the week. Their intention is for you to feel relaxed and rejuvenated by the end of the week. Join in to deepen your practice or jump in for the first time!
