January 7-14, 2017

Let go of the daily grind, recharge, and reconnect.

Join us in the Yucatan and dive into 2017 refreshed, inspired, and present.

Maya Tulum sits on the Caribbean Sea of Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula. This is a region considered to be one of the world’s sacred and powerful energy centers. The ancient Mayan pyramids, alluring cenotes, stunning white sand beaches and crystal clear blue waters await you.

*Stay in luxurious cabanas on the beach. Lose your shoes and walk the sand pathways as time melts away. Enjoy lounging in hammocks on the beach, or have a fresh made margarita at the bar. Explore beaches, shopping, and the many natural wonders that Tulum has to offer. Take advantage of one of the tours offered by the resort, or treat yourself to a few of the Mayan Specialty Spa treatments.

*Be nourished with three thoughtfully prepared meals daily. Enjoy the creative and delicious offerings of the chefs, who utilize the abundance of fresh local produce. Explore the benefits of healthful vegetarian food, and hydrate with daily Agua Frescas. (Chicken and Fish options are available.)

*Dive deeper into your yoga practice. Enjoy daily yoga classes and deeper learning opportunities. Classes are lovingly offered for all levels. Explore Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Chakras, and Intention Setting. Cultivate awareness and clarity. Leave Tulum feeling deeply rooted in the present, and having developed practices that can help you to navigate more skillfully through the ups and downs of our hectic lives.

Hannah Bader is an 8+ year certified (E-RYT) Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher. She owns and operates Yoga Baja, an oceanfront Yoga Studio in Northern Baja California, Mexico. Hannah draws upon her many years of experience as a dancer, gymnast, and Yogi to create fun and inspiring classes. She loves to make her students laugh, and to help them get the most from their yoga practice. Hannah believes that we are always refining, growing, and evolving in our practice on and off the mat.

Hannah will be joyfully assisted by her mother and sister (fellow yoga instructors) in Tulum!

Marty Bader is a certified Vinyasa teacher (RYT 200) and is registered with Yoga Alliance. She recently retired from teaching 20 years in the Fresno public school system. She has been a long time practitioner of Iyengar yoga. She has also studied and practiced Intu-flow, a program developed by Scott Sonnon. This is a systematic flow through all the joints in the body. These movements help lubricate the joints for greater joint mobility. Every joint carries a specific emotional component, so restoring the mobility in all areas helps discharge emotion-blocking energy. Marty believe that connecting the body’s movement with the prana or breath energy can move the practitioner toward better physical and mental health.

Rachel Luttrell is a Certified Yoga Instructor registered with Yoga Alliance. Rachel has always been profoundly affected by the power of the mind /body connection. Having studied movement and dance for over 25 years, she was then introduced to yoga. Immediately she found a love for the practice and teachings. Now, having found many ways to incorporate both disciplines, Rachel’s focus is to encourage her students to look past the superficial and into the heart of the body and mind’s maladies. She believes by incorporating all the great teachings of the yogis that came before us, we can begin to achieve more peace and balance in our lives as we move through the physical practice.
