Join us for a rejuvenating yoga retreat that goes beyond the practice of physical postures, or asanas. This retreat focuses on establishing optimal health and wellness within the body, mind, and spirit. It will be a balance between relaxation and adventure! Delve deeper into your practice with twice daily yoga sessions, optional morning meditations, and evening classes dedicated to various aspects of yoga and healing. All the while enjoying gorgeous views from your beachside cabana, restoring inner peace with the sounds of the ocean.

  • Free access to onsite services of the resort, such as: private beaches, the labyrinth, and more.
  • 3 nutritional meals provided daily.
  • 2yoga classes every day that are customized for the group, and taught by Melanie Cherney & Carina Longworth.
  • Optional morning meditations followed by a Vinyasa yoga flow.
  • Open time during the day to explore, play, and enjoy the resort and Tulum area!

About the Facilitators:

Melanie Cherney

Melanie Cherney is a registered yoga teacher and certified health coach. She completed her 500hr advanced yoga teacher certification through YogaWorks and has been teaching since 2012. Melanie teaches at several local yoga studios and within corporate wellness programs throughout Southern California. She has experience teaching a range of yoga styles, including Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin and Restorative. Her classes fuse together aspects from these yoga branches and have a strong focus on alignment, breath, mind body awareness and stress reduction.

In addition to teaching yoga, Melanie works with clients individually and in groups in cultivating greater happiness and health utilizing mindfulness, psychology, energy medicine practices and healthful living. She has a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and Art Therapy and is trained in a wide range of holistic healthcare practices, including Functional Nutrition, BodyTalk System & Holistic Health Coaching. Melanie’s diverse knowledge gives her unique expertise in integrating mindbody wellness techniques to support clients in moving towards a greater state of health and wellbeing. To learn more about Melanie, visit

Carina Longworth

Carina is a 500 hour registered yoga teacher, certified holistic life coach and personal trainer who has been teaching and coaching for 9 years. Her yoga style ranges from Gentle Yin to a Vinyasa flow. Carina has a deep passion for all that Yoga has to offer. She reaches her students on the mat through her positive and loving energy. She inspires people to want to live with compassion and truth. Her yoga sequences are well thought out, leaving the student rejuvenated from the inside out. Carina believes that life is not just something to be endured; it is to be lived in joy, fullness, and without limit, in your true state of health. She is the one to guide you in uncovering your bliss, physically and mentally.
