Looking for the perfect retreat in an idyllic, peaceful setting by the sea? Then come join Dennis and Kathy Lang for a 7 night, all inclusive yoga and meditation retreat on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula at the amazing Maya Tulum Spa resort. Your day will start off with a mindful vinyasa flow class for all levels and finish with a late afternoon yin or meditation practice to peacefully end your day. Each practice will have a theme to deepen your understanding of yoga and meditation. Soothing sounds of Spanish guitar played by Dennis will enhance your savasanas. There will be plenty of free time to relax on the beach, pamper yourself with a spa treatment, experience the sweat lodge, take an eco tour, snorkel, explore the Mayan Ruins or the town of Tulum.
Dennis and Kathy Lang, E-RYT200/RYT 500, are both certified instructors of Yin and Vinyasa Flow and released a guided meditation CD. They have been teaching since 2005 and were certified through the Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, NC. The couple brings a unique perspective by co-teaching which brings a nice male/female or yin/yang balance to the practice. They have traveled to over 33 countries which allows them to offer an abundance of knowledge and perspective to the practice. They consider themselves as guides or facilitators of an experience. The couple teaches over 50 workshops a year and is on the faculty of several teacher training programs. In recent years, they have integrated sound and vibrations into the practices of yoga and meditation. Their teaching style is not focused simply on the asanas but includes the deeper dimensions of yoga such as meditation, mindfulness and chakra balancing.
